Who would have thought just a few weeks ago that Finding Nemo would surpass The Matrix: Reloaded in box office receipts. Finding Nemo only needed six weeks to surpass the box office totals the Matrix: Reloaded had taken eight and a half weeks to achieve.
Finding Nemo six-week cumulative gross: $274,900,000

Welcome to our film and video homepage. As it has been a hectic few weeks at work, I hope that you will forgive this page’s shortcomings. I can assure you that there will be a direct correlation between the amount of free time I can wrest away from work and the overall polish of this page and the others on the site. Here you will find our reviews and our other random thoughts on films and videos. There will be a film review a week and thanks to IMDB.com a constantly updated list of films I’ve seen and remembered to recorded a score of 1 to 10 for.
As a note in passing about the reviews, while the IMDB List is from a scale of 1 to 10 the reviews will be scored on a scale from 0 stars to 4 stars. At the end of every review there will be a formula for the easy breakdown of films.
There will be special circumstances that will effect the scoring decision, such as, the Eye-Candy Quotient, in which, each hot chick in a flick will each add a half star to the final score. The eye-candy quotient is not to exceed one full star and will never push the final score of a film to a four star rating. For example, the film the Craft boasts a cast that includes Robin Tunney, Fairuza Balk, Neve Campbell and Rachel True. The four starlets are all deserving of a half star on the Eye-Candy Quotient bonus, however this category is never to exceed one star, thus the final Eye-Candy Quotient would be equal to one star. This grading structure also includes a system of demerits. One such category is the Unnecessary Male Nudity category. An example of this is Matrix: Reloaded and Keanu’s ass. This is an automatic penalty of one half star per incident, but is also not to exceed one star. I will elaborate more on my system as the need arises. For now, if you have any questions or unreasonable terrorist demands please e-mail me.
